Department of Mechanical Engineering
Welcome to the McGill Fluid Dynamics Laboratory!
Our group specialises in breaking down complex engineering problems into their fundamental building blocks, so as to create long lasting and impactful solutions that can be applied on the broadest scale. We are particularly interested in understanding how turbulence interacts and controls a wide variety of engineering applications, specifically for renewable energy generation and aerospace applications.
This website is aimed at disseminating our work to the scientific community and the general public as well. Our published work is regularly uploaded to the McGill University repository, making it available to all who wish to learn more.
Very happy to announce that the 2nd edition of Measurement in Fluid Mechanics, published by Cambridge University Press, is now available! Thoroughly revised and expanded, it includes new material from the undergraduate course I teach at McGill (MECH 261/262). Enhanced features include improved support for students with emphasis on pedagogical instruction and self-learning, end-of-chapter summaries, 127 examples, 165 problems and refined illustrations. Find out more by clicking the book cover!
